The traditional "big dress" arrived in Morocco with the Jews expelled from Spain, preserving the splendor of Spanish heritage upon which they relied. An 180-year-old dress belonging to the designer's grandmother, carefully kept by her family, served as the inspiration for the contemporary Big Dress—a memory that has only grown stronger over the years.
In this collection, the designer gives a futuristic interpretation to the traditional ethnic aesthetic, allowing us to carry an ancient memory forward, despite modernization and the passage of time.
Crafted from natural fabrics, the collection presents innovative adaptations of Moroccan attire, which—like our memories—have undergone "inflation" and distortion over time. Traditional embellishments take on new meaning, transformed from rich handcrafted textures into advanced prints.
The collection has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions, museums, and fashion shows in Israel and around the world.
